Our humble beginning started in 1946, I started General Trading business in Al Shandagha in Deira. My focus was to offer high quality branded products to the residents of Dubai. Gulf region actively contributed to the changes during this period, we were faced with an opportunity to move forward with the least amount of negative impact compared to most of our neighbours in this region. Sheer commitment and hard work payed the dividends in short time span, the first two years were the toughest, but most fruitful in my life. I was joined by my brother followed by two cousins in the latter stages. In early seventies I expanded my enterprise to supply and installation of carpets primarily focusing on residential and commercial usage. We just wanted to be a trusted household name! I could proudly say that we achieved our goal in a short time span. Mostafawi was the trusted household name in flooring by mid 80s. During the last three decades, we have diversified into Manufacturing & Real Estate. We were one of the first to set up hand tuft carpet manufacturing plant in UAE far back in 1996. Currently we are an organization with over 400 human pillars & continuously adding more to our base. We took a different approach when the global markets were hit by the recession, re-launching Mostafawi brand and business process re-engineering allowed us to thrive in a negative growth economy. We have moved further in the real estate and manufacturing sector focusing to develop our own niche in the customize furniture and fixtures. We are a family business with Arabic values and spirit, continuously exploring the opportunities to develop our skills and the service standards.
