In 1992, Mitch Moss began his legal career in El Paso serving as a briefing attorney for the Honorable Ward Koehler, Justice of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Appeals. The following year, he joined a small litigation boutique and was in trial with one of the partners his first day on the job. Over the next ten years, while working for small litigation firms, Mitch had the benefit of learning from some of the best trial lawyers in the region while trying over 80 cases in Texas and New Mexico ranging from wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits to commercial disputes. In 2000, Mitch became board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In 2003, Mitch joined one of El Paso's oldest and largest law firms and continued developing his courtroom skills. During that time, Mitch obtained extensive experience handling arbitrations and administrative matters involving professional licensing and all aspects of employment law. Mitch also became known as a skilled negotiator and was encouraged by a colleague to consider training as a mediator, which he eventually did. An El Paso native, Priscilla Castillo graduated from UTEP and completed the Law School Preparation Institute. She attended law school at New York University School of Law. She practiced for several years with a large New York law firm before returning to her hometown, where she began working with Mitch and his litigation team. Priscilla quickly became a leader in the firm, as she assumed high level roles in their litigation practice. Concurrently, Priscilla developed her own labor & employment practice with clients facing administrative proceedings, defending lawsuits in state and federal courts, and seeking advice on all aspects of day-to-day employment matters. In January of 2018, Mitch and Priscilla left their established law firm to embark on their own and launch Moss Legal Group, PLLC. The firm was founded on the vision and promise to clients that they would always strive to find effective and efficient legal solutions to complex legal problems. Recognitions
