The King’s Academy is a Christ-centered school that inspires academic excellence, servant leadership, and enduring relationships. The junior and senior high school of 950 students (grades 6-12) exists to honor and glorify our King Jesus Christ. Tampa Preparatory School is the premier private school in the Tampa Bay area for students in grades 6 – 12. We focus on what’s best for students, incorporating the latest research and data on teenage brain function, retention and development into our programs. As a leader in education, we incorporate progressive ideas into the curriculum, schedule and facilities on a regular basis. For instance, our classes begin at 8:50 a.m. because research indicates that students need more sleep. In addition, the use of iPads over textbooks, Active Learning Environments, and STEM makerspaces are the result of the programmatic and curricular enhancements driven by our outstanding faculty. Harvest Christian Academy (HCA) is a ministry of Harvest Bible Chapel, one church on multiple campuses in the Chicagoland area. HCA is located on 80 acres on the Elgin campus, 40 miles west of downtown Chicago. We are fully recognized by The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and accredited by AdvancED, Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and North Central Association (NCA). We are a member of the Northeast Athletic Conference (NAC) and we compete in Illinois High School Association (IHSA) 2A & 1A sports. We offer a wide range of college prep academic, fine arts and athletic programs in a vibrant Christian community.
