Mosan Information

Mosan’s mission is to co-create culturally appropriate, circular, and regenerative systems through ecological sanitation and innovative waste treatment, preventing contamination and enabling the recovery of valuable nutrients for safe reuse in agriculture. The approach is system-oriented, working across sanitation, material flows, and agriculture to restore ecological functions. Over time, Mosan has developed context-adapted systems and processes, including attractive ecological dry toilets, treatment of sewage sludge via pyrolysis, low-emission TLUD reactors, and soil amendment formulations. Together with local partners — including Mosan S.A. Guatemala and Association for Innovation — these systems are currently implemented in Guatemala, while Mosan provides strategic support, scientific partnerships, and overall facilitation.
