We were created by the Sunkist Growers in 1907 to manufacture wood crates for their California grown oranges. Today, we offer all kinds of agricultural supplies from growing products to harvesting equipment and everything in between. We're experts at designing large scale irrigation projects and installing them. We manufacture custom corrugated boxes and sheets, construct strong, high-quality wooden shipping pallets, develop citrus wax and fruit coatings, and offer packing house maintenance plans. Cherry Republic is about as far from Corporate America as you can imagine. So when we set about to craft a Mission/Vision/Values statement, we knew it would be a bit unconventional. No corporate speak. No management buzzwords. No pretense. Our Core Values would be a genuine, heartfelt description of who we are and who we strive to be each day. It would be a living document, not something trapped in a dusty binder or relegated to a Cloud-based file. At Cherry Republic we believe work should be fun! In fact, each of our Core Values touches on not only making our customers happy, but making our employees happy, as well. Thus the birth of Life, Liberty, Beaches & Pie.
