The SRAG has driven the establishment of the Social Recruitment Covenant, which launched at Westminster in November 2024 to become the fastest growing employment related covenant in the UK. PeoplePlus has a 30 year track record in employability, social recruitment, prison education, vocational training, self-employment support and health & social care services. Our teams deliver social value impact, face-to-face, every day. We are the current Investors in People Social Value Organisation of the Year, for the second time in a row. Our purpose as an organisation is to help people transform their lives, get jobs and keep jobs and develop their careers. In December 2022 we achieved our ambitious mission to make a direct difference to the lives of 1 million people since 2018. We did this through our unique range of sector-leading public services and innovative employer solutions. Our national coverage enables us to support tens of thousands of people every year into sustainable employment. We run employability programmes, facilitate adult education training courses to enable people to move into work, as well as being the largest independent provider of prison education in the UK. We operate in 33 prisons to deliver high quality education services, helping prisoners to develop the skills they need to access work on release. Critically, given labour market challenges, we work closely with hundreds of employers across the UK to realise the impact social recruitment can have on their business. We champion the recruitment of people from disadvantaged backgrounds, supporting and enabling them to bring out the best of their ability. We can also offer employers support to access funded training courses, social value training programmes, Bid Consultancy, Partner and Social Value Services.
