In Saskatchewan, weve been through tough times before. From low prices for our valuable agricultural, energy and mining resources to floods and fires that wipe out entire communities, weve been through difficult times. Yet, weve always persevered and emerged stronger. Today, we are facing another one of those tough times. However, the battle against COVID-19 is unlike any that weve encountered in our lifetimes. Its changing the way we work, the way we live, the way we socialize and the way we think about our health. In times of crisis we need our medical heroes more than ever before. As Volunteer Chair of the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, I hope the COVID-19 outbreak also has you thinking about how you can help support health care in our community. The Moose Jaw Health Foundation will be holding the 800 CHAB Family First Radiothon at the Town 'n' Country Mall on September 10th and 11th this year to support our healthcare heroes with new cardiac equipment and chemotherapy chairs for ambulatory care. I encourage you to support the Radiothon this year. "Although COVID-19 is causing many things in our world to change, one thing that has not changed is our commitment to the high-quality care we provide you and your loved ones at the Dr. F. H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. My colleagues and I will be there to look after all of your medical needs during these uncertain times. Weve trained our entire careers for these situations and were prepared to handle whatever comes our way. Your donations will help provide us with important lifesaving equipment. The better equipped we are, the better our healthcare heroess will be able to care for you, your friends and your loved ones. Right now, we need each other like never before.
