Jamie Moorhead founded the Moorhead Law Group, LLC in 2012 as a focused, hard-working law firm based in Chicago, with a cost-effective practice that is national in scope. The firm concentrates in three areas: commercial real estate, conservation, and sports law, all on a national basis. Clients have noted the firm’s fair and responsive approach, sound practical advice, and ability to get transactions done on time, on budget, and without surprises. A majority of Jamie's time focuses on commercial real estate, and he concentrates particularly on representing national and regional companies as tenants in retail, office, warehouse, and industrial leases. Typical clients include high-end retailers, public global companies, law firms, venture capital companies, manufacturers, resort properties, and timber companies. Jamie's practice includes purchases and sales, land use, zoning, development, and property disputes. Jamie also works on the development, economic enhancement and conversation of natural and rural land. He is affiliated with Field Sport Concepts, Ltd. and has experience in land use, natural resource, water law, conservation, conservation easements. Previously the Communications Manager with the Motorola Cycling Team from 1994-1996, Jamie represents Olympic-level athletes in international and national sports law cases through the U.S. Olympic Committee's Ombudsman office.
