Moore Architects, PC is a full service architectural firm, working in all stages of the process from schematic design through construction drawings and construction administration. The architects in the firm provide a hands-on approach to the entire development of architecture. Moore Architects, PC is predominately a residential practice, concentrating on new homes, renovations/additions, retail, adaptive reuse and historic preservation projects. Additionally, a growing segment of the practice focuses on commercial and institutional work, including retail buildings, churches, and private schools. Moore Architects, PC has completed well over 300 residential projects in the Washington, DC region, and in North Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, Indiana, Texas, New Jersey and California. Moore Architects, PC began in 1989 as C. Marshall Moore, Architect. In 1990, with the addition of a partner and employees, the firm rapidly grew into Moore Poe Architects, PC. In 2002, the firm, located in the City of Falls Church, Virginia, became Moore Architects, PC. The firm has received numerous awards from the American Institute of Architects (Washington, D.C. Chapter, Northern Virginia Chapter and Virginia Society), the Washington Architectural Foundation, the Arlington County Preservation Design Awards Program, Spaces Magazine, Fine Homebuilding Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, Builder Magazine, Remodeling Magazine, and Custom Home Magazine. Moore Architects, PC has also been published in Home Magazine, Spaces Magazine, Cottage Living Magazine, Fine Homebuilding Magazine, Architectural Digest, Southern Living Magazine, Washingtonian Magazine, The Washington Post and INFORM Magazine.
