With digital and printed materials available in more than 40 languages, SSI enables people to experience the underwater world across the globe. SSI's MyDiveGuide represents the world's largest Dive Site Database with more than 5,000 sites, including potential wildlife encounters. The database is based on more than 6 million logged dives and improves daily via SSI's Digital DiveLog. MyDiveGuide and the Digital DiveLog connect dive sites, buddies, instructors, and Training Centers using QR Code technology and SSI's digital dive verification to create a lifetime of adventure. Global Underwater Explorers (GUE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing excellence in diving through high-quality education, global collaboration, and exploration. We are building a worldwide community of divers—connected by shared standards, a commitment to continuous learning, and a passion for the underwater world. Through our training programs, divers develop not only technical skills but also the awareness, discipline, and mindset required to operate in demanding environments. GUE divers are active across a wide range of disciplines, from recreational and technical diving to cave and rebreather exploration. Our community includes explorers, instructors, scientists, and conservationists working together to support meaningful aquatic initiatives around the world. Our approach is rooted in team-oriented diving, standardized procedures, and performance-based training. From foundational courses to advanced programs, GUE education emphasizes precision, safety, and long-term development—preparing divers to participate in exploration, conservation, and research projects with confidence and purpose. Beyond training, GUE supports a variety of global initiatives, including underwater research, environmental conservation, and documentation of historically significant sites. These efforts are driven by a shared belief: that exploration and stewardship go hand in hand.
