Moon & Son Information

As a self-admitted hot yoga addict, I was totally frustrated that I couldn't find the kind of gear that I wanted to wear. Thinking that other yogis might be having the same problem, I created Moon & Son. I wanted gear that performed well with little to no distraction. No fancy seaming, no crazy patterns, nothing to get in the way of the reasons I go to yoga for in the first place. Easy to wear, no brainer combinations, fantastic functional fabrics, and maybe even a little fun. I've tested all the items on myself and everything does what it says it does -- from the heated yoga studio all the way to the washing machine. Because let's face it, in my book, the hardest part of practicing hot yoga is the laundry. It was also very important to me to manufacture as much as I could here in the United States. In fact, most of my production is done just a few subway stops away from my home in Brooklyn. As a former fashion editor, designer, and social media consultant, I felt it was time to put all my favorite things into one project. Moon & Son brings together my love of all types of yoga, creating useful clothes with purpose, along with the excitement and possibilities of owning my own business. I'm starting out small, but hopefully Moon & Son can slowly grow like a dedicated yoga practice. Like every time I step onto my mat, Moon & Son is very much a work in progress.
