Montie & Joie is an ethical homegoods and fashion brand started in Kenya and Guatemala. Our baskets are hand woven, dyed and designed by a collective of women in Kenya where they use environmentally sustainable methods and are paid fair wages for their work. Our hand embroidery is created in Guatemala where we source second hand denim for our products and also pay above average wages. Montie & Joie is run by a mother-daughter team and our goal is to see more and more women escape poverty and experience financial freedom. Our mission is to provide connection, empowerment, and joy on both sides of our supply chain!
