The mission and vision of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is dedicated to creating adventure, conveying knowledge, conserving nature, and serving the community.

The world famous Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden was rated the #1 attraction locally and one of the top zoos in the nation by Zagat Survey. We were recognized by Parents Magazine as #7 on the “Top 10 Best Zoos for Kids.” We have also been recognized by Child Magazine as one of "The 10 Best Zoos for Kids." Over one million people visit our award-winning exhibits, and more than 500 animal and 3000 plant species annually. Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is a 188-acre institution accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) whose mission is to inspire a culture of understanding and discovery of our natural world through conservation, innovation and leadership.
