Founded in 2008, Montessori High School at University Circle (MHS) is an independent college-preparatory school for day and boarding students in grades 9-12. MHS provides students with a unique Montessori curriculum, the globally recognized International Baccalaureate program, and real-life individualized learning in collaboration with world-class institutions throughout University Circle and the greater Cleveland area. MHS has quickly become a central pillar to the education corridor in University Circle. The foundation of our curriculum is the adolescent, and we follow Dr. Maria Montessori’s vision that “a child’s work is to create the person she/he will become.” MHS encourages students both with and without prior experience in a Montessori school to apply for admission to our diverse community of learners who have strong work habits and independent interests.
