Mont Clair is a landmark apartment building conveniently located in the heart of cosmopolitan Darlinghurst and has panoramic views of the Sydney city skyline, Hyde Park, Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge. The building was completed in 1938, and is an outstanding example of streamline moderne art deco architecture. It has been refurbished to a very high standard and throughout the building there is an 'ocean liner' feel. The foyer has a magnificent chrome and aluminium leaf light fitting and there is parquetry flooring of rare Australian timbers throughout the building. This website contains information about the building for our residents and shareholders as well as the history of the building for all to enjoy. Mont Clair is owned and operated under company title. A shareholder must be interviewed and approved by the Board of Directors before he or she can finalise the purchase of a unit.
