Moilas Oy – Free From, Full of Flavour Moilas is a third-generation Finnish family bakery founded in 1955, with over 40 years of expertise in gluten-free baking. Today, we are one of Europe’s leading specialists in gluten-free bakery products, combining tradition, innovation and deep category know-how. Based in Pieksämäki, Finland – in the land of pure waters – our two fully dedicated and certified gluten-free bakeries operate with five specialized production lines for breads, buns, pastries, pizzas and other bakery products. We produce both deep-frozen and fresh long-life products, supported by advanced packaging solutions including modified atmosphere packaging (MAP), enabling consistent quality and extended shelf life across European markets. In 2024, our turnover reached €23 million, with 45% of sales generated through exports to 15 European countries. We employ around 90 professionals, all dedicated to delivering high-quality gluten-free bakery products our customers can trust. At Moilas, we believe everyone deserves great-tasting food – with or without gluten. Our products are developed to meet modern consumer expectations for taste, texture and clean-label ingredients, while offering a wide “free from” profile: all products are gluten-free, wheat-free, soy-free, nut-free and GMO-free, and most are also dairy-free, egg-free and vegan. Quality, food safety and responsibility are at the core of everything we do. Our operations are supported by internationally recognized certifications, including BRCGS Grade A, and we are committed to continuous improvement through initiatives such as SBTi-aligned climate targets, SEDEX membership and independent sustainability assessments.
