There are many recruitment companies, especially (startups) first-time hirers, significantly low-ball the amount they want to pay for a project. This is the path to disappointment. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for -- so be prepared to pay for what you want. We will only know the answer by researching the necessary skills, and comparable projects, to get a sense of the appropriate fee we should be paid.
