Headquartered at Bangalore, MIC currently operates from its 5 production facilities located at Dharwad, Bangalore, Kolar Gold Fields and Mysore in Karnataka and at Verna in Goa. Equipped with state of the art manufacturing set up and lead by team of professionals who love challenges, we at MIC aim to manufacture and deliver world class Engineering Products that not only meet the demands of Manufacturing Giants of Earth Moving & Construction Equipments but also meet the expectations of the Customer. The journey began in 2000 when our Founder Mr. Sukhraj Singh started Model Projects as a proprietorship concern with 100% Export Orientation at Dharwad in Southern India. During the FY 2001-2002 Model Projects was awarded a Certificate of Exports Excellence for outstanding Export Performance and achieving the highest exports during the year amongst the Other SSI Exporters in their panel by the Engineering Export Promotion Council. In 2002 Model Projects participated in two construction equipment trade shows in BAUMA, Munich and also CON Expo in Las Vegas, USA. The concern subsequently became an ancillary to the newly set up TELCON, a JV between Tata and Hitachi at Dharwad, Karnataka in FY 2002-03 and was incorporated as Model Buckets and Attachments Pvt. Ltd in November 2003. MBA in FY 03-04 started work on setting up a facility at Verna, Goa specially to cater to the global market and the international majors like Volvo Construction Equipment and JCB Excavators who had started manufacturing in India. Eyeing a long term strategic Partnership with L&T Komatsu Ltd, MBA in the year 2006, set up its third Production Facility at Doddaballapur, Bangalore and added to its production line trackframes and other structures of Earthmoving Equipment. In April 2008 MBA came up with new units at Kolar Gold Fields to meet demands of BEML and started its facility at Mysore introducing Mining Truck Dumpers to its ever-growing Product Line.
