MODECSOFT Ltd Information

Modecsoft Ltd is a specialist software company dedicated to transforming the way electrical professionals design, analyse, and document their projects. Our flagship product, ElectricalOM, is a powerful electrical design and calculation platform trusted by consultants, contractors, and engineers worldwide. Built around the requirements of BS 7671 and international standards such as IEC 60364, NEC NFPA 70. ElectricalOM delivers fast, accurate, and compliant design results in real time. ElectricalOM enables users to model complete low-voltage networks — from the incoming supply right down to the final circuits — and instantly check load flow, fault levels, voltage drops, and protective device coordination. It provides clear error reporting, optimised calculations, and professional documentation, helping engineers produce safer, more efficient designs with confidence. To extend its capabilities, ElectricalOM is supported by a suite of add-ons, including: CAD Plan Design Add-on – integrate 2D/3D plans directly with the electrical model. UK Forms Add-on – generate fully compliant BS 7671 certificates automatically. Arc Flash Add-on – calculate incident energy, PPE, and safety boundaries. Revit Add-on – connect seamlessly with BIM workflows in Autodesk Revit. Our mission is simple: to provide modern, intuitive tools that make electrical design smarter, faster, and more reliable. We believe software should fit the way engineers work — not the other way around. Alongside our products, we offer training and support services designed to help customers maximise their investment, adopt best practices, and deliver projects to the highest standards. With continuous updates and a commitment to customer feedback, Modecsoft ensures ElectricalOM evolves in step with industry needs and regulatory changes. From single contractors to multinational consultancies, Modecsoft is proud to support the professionals who power the built environment.
