Founded in Chicago, IL by Virginia-born Candice Stewart, the store is committed to providing a conscious collection, comfort and functionality while catering to the busy lifestyle of the urban men and women. Each emerging designer featured shares Candice’s vision for a better future for fashion and meet one or more of Mod + Ethico’s standards: made in the U.S.A., fair-trade practices, eco-friendly materials and small scale production. The multi-use space brings together up-and-coming artists, designers, entrepreneurs and businesses that align with Mod + Ethico’s mission for an ethically-sourced lifestyle, and will regularly feature special events and trunk shows to give little-known names a platform.
