Mockingbird Lounge Information

Mockingbird Lounge is a second-hand book shop and cafe offering literacy excitement to Glenelg South's Broadway community. Mockingbird Lounge is your alternative to a new bookshop - a book boutique, if you like. There's a great range of quality books, of many genres, all sold in as-new condition. Delicious coffee, fine teas and home-made sweet treats are served. We use De Groot coffee, Scullery Made Teas and Tweedvale milk, maintaining a 'local' philosophy. Local art and photography is displayed - available for purchase, as well as a selection of beautiful stationery, cards and handmade gifts. Mockingbird lounge is licensed and stocks a small range of local wine, beer and cider. On the 1st Friday of every month we host a Wine Night, offering a small nibbles menu including cheese boards. There's no need to book, just come along and enjoy the night! Our Secret Garden is a blossoming courtyard garden with seating and shade. You can enjoy the laid back charm at Mockingbird Lounge 7 days a week, with extended trading for book clubs and for special events and private functions by arrangement.
