Mobbs Engineering was first established in 2007 to meet demands from local companies for a reliable engineering company to supply quality products and service. Mobbs engineering was originally established as an owner operator business providing onsite boilermaking services, however due to the quality workmanship and service provided there was soon the demand to open an Emerald based Engineering/Fabrication workshop helping to meet tight time constraints by being local without compromising on safety and quality. Today Mobbs Engineering employees around 18 people providing a service to all industries, including Mining, Gas, Agriculture, Rail, Council and Commercial, we pride ourselves on having a quality skilled workforce and have an excellent reputation in the region, we are a trusted, competent, reliable team. Our experience has seen Mobbs Engineering's client and skills base grow and therefore we are ideally placed to provide services from design and drafting, engineering certification, fabrication, statutory inspections and reporting, general repairs, soda blasting and sandblasting and painting to our client's specifications. Mobbs Engineering's Emerald workshop has a large all weather gravel yard along with a fully enclosed, secure 450m2 workshop and a semi attached 120m2 covered open high bay area. Our 10,000m2 Yard area is capable of handling varied tasks from small fabrication to repairs and overhauls of large mining equipment including large loader and excavator buckets and large underground equipment such as Continuous Miner heads and Mobile Boot Ends. Mobbs Engineering's large gravelled all weather work yard allows us to work on any large equipment with no limit to the size of the equipment.
