Moab House Information

A Moab House is owned and managed by a couple with long ties to both Moab and the tourism industry. Andy Nettell moved to Moab in 1989 while working for the National Park Service as a Park Ranger. He worked in Canyonlands and Arches National Parks for ten years before trying on a new hat in the retail industry. He owned Music of Moab for 3 1/2 years then opened Arches Book Company in 2001. A few years later he bought Back of Beyond Books and a year later opened ABC & Beyond Used Books. You think he's into books? When not reading, Andy goes for trail runs with Keta their Austrailian Shephard, enjoys road biking, and eating. Marcee Nettell grew up in Alaska and worked for Holland America/Gray Line in Anchorage and Juneau for 10 years. She then managed backcountry bear and salmon lodges until the cold got to her and she moved south. Staying in the hospitality industry, Marcee built and managed Camelot Lodge, a remote lodge on the banks of the Colorado River. At Camelot, Marcee featured world-class cuisine, famous desserts and lead camel treks into the red rock desert. She later returned to Moab, and married Andy. She power hikes the west with Keta, takes care of their chickens and enjoys birdwatching.
