Bahia Mineração is a Brazilian company that started its formation in 2005 with a pioneer project in the State. The undertaking, called Projeto Pedra de Ferro is intended to produce 20 million tons of iron ore a year, be one of the most modern mining companies worldwide and contribute to transform Bahia state into the third largest iron ore producer in Brazil. PEOPLE who work at BAMIN represent one of the three pillars that sustain the company, which counts on two support bases: SUSTAINABILITY of the business, grounded on environmental preservation and economic and social development of the region and the communities where it operates; and OPENNESS that follows and provides credibility to the activity. The Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), one of the chief producers of natural resources, holds the stock control.
