Maharashta Mandal of Los Angeles represents the Marathi speaking people of Maharashtra, India. Our Mission for the past 30 years is to promote Marathi culture, art and literature in LA and Greater LA Area. To promote Marathi culture, we organize various cultural programs such as Sankrant, Ganesh Utsov, Diwali and Holi. To sustain and promote Marathi Literature we have been maintaning a Marathi Book Library. Also, starting this year we have added Marathi Videos (VCDs & DVDs) to our library. To spread Marathi literature we have started a Marathi Podcast called Manthan, which features stories, articles, and poems from local authors. We promote Marathi Art by inviting imminent personalities from Marathi Rangamanch from India to perform in LA Area. We provide a unique platform to local artist to showcase their talent by organizing plays, dance and singing competitions and supporting satellite events like Gunadarshan. Apart from promoting Art, Literature and Culture, we bring Marathi community together by organizing social events like Camping Nights, Sports Day and Picnics. Come join us in celebrating , .... !!!
