MKU Training Institute (MKUTI) Information

MKU Training Institute offers Montessori distance education to students all around the world. There is a global shortage of Montessori educators and a growing number of parents seeking non-traditional education options. We take pride in offering quality training so students will be able to seek and thrive in any Montessori learning environment. Successful completion of an MKU Training Institute program sets the foundation for graduates to support an authentic Montessori learning environment in their classroom. When implemented authentically, this unique pedagogy provides the child with the best educational outcomes. Mixed-age groups in the classroom allow children to learn from one another. Freedom to work at the child’s own pace fosters an innate curiosity to learn. The importance placed on social graces and courtesies in the Montessori environment instills respect in the child from a very young age. Students learn how to cultivate their creativity, independence, and respect for others. MKU Training Institute is open to anyone who desires to become a Montessori teacher. It is not necessary to be affiliated with the Montessori Kids Universe franchise school network to enroll in MKUTI. Students must be at least 18 years old; with a high school diploma.
