Mistletoe Vineyards Information

Mistletoe Vineyards is a boutique vineyard site with rich soils, excellent elevation, and West and Southwest facing slopes. We strive to produce the Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris fruit that best expresses the true characteristics of each varietal. Roger Vlasak - Owner and Vineyard Manager, is a true craftsman using the highest level of care tending to his vines by hand. Our Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris varietals consist of pn 113 on 3309 rootstock, pn 115 on SO4 rootstock, pn 91 (Pommard) on 101-14 rootstock, and pg 146 on 101-14 and SO4 rootstocks. Mistletoe Vineyards has an ideal growing climate located in the Western Willamette Valley foothills of Oregon. The climate of the Willamette Valley is a blend of Oceanic and Mediterranean, similar to the Burgundy region in France. Heat from the valley balanced with cool ocean breezes, combine to provide ideal growing conditions for the Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grape. Summers are dry and somewhat warm; the rest of the year, from November to April is very wet with about 50 inches of rain to rejuvenate the land.
