OUR MISSION Our mission is to bring peace to communities through genuine communication, relationship building, and learnable emotional skills. ABOUT US Mission Peace is a professional training organization developing effective communication, respectful engagement, and peaceful de-escalation techniques for those in positions of authority and the communities they serve. Our team has refined the best techniques from multiple disciplines into what highly skilled people actually do to remain calm and respond effectively in intense and volatile situations. This curriculum, taught with learnable, research-based skills are proven to reduce violence and use-of-force incidents. THE NEED Now more than ever, Law Enforcement and other Security Professionals walk a difficult line between safety protocols and crisis prevention. Highly trained and skilled professionals can make all the difference between situations escalating or resolving peacefully. Mission-Peace provides industry-leading training and consultation designed to increase the skill of individuals to respectfully engage and diffuse all types of intense situations. Better skills lead to fewer use-of-force scenarios without compromising safety or vital procedures. The result is greater rapport and relationships with the entire community, with reduced stress and liability on the entire team. OUR FOUNDATION The Peacemaking Project® is our non-profit foundation that supports our mission, and allows for Grants and Scholarships to aid in training budgets. This expands much needed training quicker, with fewer barriers. PRODUCT / PROCUREMENT We have assembled many distribution accounts to aid in bulk product procurement at discounts to aid in our mission for our clients. From emergency supplies, to cold weather equipment we are able to source direct in many cases. And matching grant money from our foundation potentially expands purchasing power.
