Seminaries and Institutes of Religion (S&I) is part of the Church Educational System (CES) operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our purpose is to help youth and young adults understand and rely on the teachings and Atonement of Jesus Christ, qualify for the blessings of the temple, and prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven. seminary.lds.org and institute.lds.org

Missão: A missão da Igreja é anunciar as boas novas ao mundo no contexto da mensagem dos três anjos de Apocalipse 14:6-12, levando as pessoas a aceitar a Jesus como Salvador pessoal e unirem-se à Sua Igreja na preparação para Sua breve volta. Esta é a mensagem universal, para todos, em todas as partes. A “cada nação, e tribo, e língua e povo”; a cada cidade, a cada vila; a cada país, comunidade, colônia e “criatura”. The IPU is the global organization of national parliaments. It was founded in 1889 as the first multilateral political organization in the world, encouraging cooperation and dialogue between all nations. Today, the IPU comprises 181 national Member Parliaments. It promotes democracy and helps parliaments become stronger, younger, gender-balanced and more diverse. It also defends the human rights of parliamentarians through a dedicated committee made up of MPs from around the world. Twice a year, the IPU convenes over 1,500 parliamentary delegates and partners in a world assembly, bringing a parliamentary dimension to global governance, including the work of the United Nations and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
