Renowned across the United States among Stylists for his incredibly unique and energetic stage presentations, Misael Apontes innovative approach to color placement and formula combinations led to the development of his innovative Veils Curtains & Drapes™ color placement technique. In 2004, while living in NYC, Misael launched Misael ART LLC to create advanced hair color education programs featuring his unique methodology, which he offers in his two acclaimed Art of Color & Movement™ hands-on educational classes. With his infectious enthusiasm and innovative visual tools, Misael shares a unique creative vision with Colorists of ALL experience levels and he continues to present his 1-day and 2-day classes to sold-out audiences all across North America. The first DVD of Misaels innovative placement technique, Veils Curtains & Drapes Vol.1 , is available for purchase on this site. Following his 17 year affiliation as a Platform Artist and Educator for Schwarzkopf Professional, in early 2015 Misael was appointed the International Color Director for the innovative exothermic hair color line Calura from Montreal-based Oligo Professionnel. He is extremely honored to lead their growing Creative Team, which includes creating new Signature Looks collections each year as well as continuing to present and educate for the brand throughout North America. Misaels stage presentations, hands-on classes & workshops have inspired hairdressers all across the U.S., including national and regional shows such as: I.S.S.E., Americas Beauty Show (IL), Hairworld / B.B.S.I.
