MIRO Analytical Technologies GmbH is an Empa spin-off (www.Empa.ch) bringing the latest mid-infrared gas sensing technology based on quantum cascade lasers (QCL) to the market. We are using newly developed multi-color QCLs to build compact, yet very powerful, laser absorption spectrometers targeting gas sensing applications of small molecules. Our first product will be a gas analyzer for precise and simultaneous measurement of the most important pollutants (CO, NO, NO2, NH3, O3, and SO2) and greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4, and N2O).
