Minteos was founded in the 2005 as spin-off of the Turin Polytechnic with the objective to supply our world with innovative applications for the Environmental and Industrial Monitoring, under the paradigm of the "Internet of Things". Before entering the market in the 2008, Minteos has made important research and investments to realize "Internet of Nature" platform, our innovative Wireless Sensor Network based architecture, optimized for Outdoors WSN monitoring applications. Since the 2008 Minteos has been implementing several vertical applications, initially with special focus on the Environment monitoring and protection (i.e. Wildfires detection and prevention, Floods detection, LandSlides) and then more recently targetting specific Industrial and Smart-City issues (i.e. Air Quality monitoring, Sewage control, SmartLighting, Precision Agriculture or Farming, Dam Monitoring).
