Minster Property Management provides a personal and professional service for both residential and commercial developments throughout Dorset and Hampshire including Bournemouth and Poole. Peter G May, our principal, is a Chartered Surveyor based in Wimborne, Dorset since 1988. The management practice currently handles the management for blocks - mainly in and around Hampshire and Dorset. The management and administration of purpose built blocks of flats, converted houses and privately run residential estates is a unique form of property management requiring specialised skills and an in-depth knowledge of legislation. We have a proven track record. Our services include: Budget preparation and service charge collection Ground Rent collection Appointment of grounds maintenance personnel and cleaning contractors for the common areas Regular inspection visits to the development by our Contracts Manager Appointment of qualified contractors for electrical and general repairs in common areas Arrangement of block insurance policies and handling of claims Issuing of payments to contractors Preparation of annual accounts Mediation between residents Monitoring of health and safety Enforcement of lease and transfer covenants Responding to legal enquiries in connection with purchase and sale Planning for both long and short term maintenance Clients' monies are held in individual trust accounts to provide greater transparency for our clients. All our Clients Accounts are subject to the RICS Client Account Regulations. Minster Property Management is regulated by the RICS and pay a levy which is used by the RICS to monitor and inspect firms holding Clients Funds.
