A rotating union, or rotating joint, is a high-precision rotary sealing device that connects rotating equipment to fixed piping for the transfer of steam, water, thermal oil, refrigerant, hydraulic oil, air and other fluids. Used for transferring a fluid from a static source to a dynamic medium, this equipment provides a seal between the dynamic equipment and the static piping to allow the flow of heat transfer fluid to flow in and out freely and without rotating dynamic equipment leaks. The rotating union is composed of a shaft, bearings/carbon bearings, body, head, in addition to having a seal/seal ring.
