Mini Train Systems is owned and operated by Roger and Beverley Jones and has grown out of a lifelong hobby interest in model and miniature trains, including a deep involvement in the early days of the Wascoe Siding miniature railway in Blaxland, NSW. Bev and Roger started the famous Powerline brand of HO model railway equiment in the mid-80's, and in the mid-90's started building a "Thomas" miniature railway - initially as a promotional tool for model railways. This grew in to a thriving children's tourist attraction in its own right. In 2010 the decision was made to expand the manufacturing base - in part to meet the ongoing expansion needs of The Train Shed, but also to use our experience to spread the enjoyment of miniature railways to a wider audience. We have now established Mini Train Systems Pty Ltd with the express aim of providing locos, rolling stock, track and accessories both individually and in complete systems for all who want to enjoy the fun of ride-on railways. Our aim is to give people the ability to get involved in miniature railways with more affordable and achievable options. As "The Train Shed" has now closed, we now focus our efforts into providing you with the best services possible and the highest quality equipment at an affordable price!
