Since 1972, Kindercare Learning Centres in New Zealand has been proudly New Zealand owned and operated, providing care and education for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. With centres in New Zealand’s major cities (Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Hamilton and Palmerston North), when it comes to outstanding full and part time care and education, Kindercare is a trusted name in local communities. Our values form the foundation of our commitment to keep each child entrusted to us Safe, Loved and Learning. Our centres are open Monday to Friday throughout the year, except for NZ statutory holidays. Because each child matters, Kindercare’s team are intentional in how they create joy-filled environments that encourage movement and exploration, nurture relationships that are loving and responsive, and foster each child’s self-esteem and competence. Our Early Childhood Educators work in partnership with parents, to enable us to develop each child’s full potential.

We are a family of families dedicated to growing awesome kiwi kids. We offer out of school care to primary and intermediate aged school children at our sKids centres across New Zealand. Thousands of tamariki come through our doors each day and we consider it a great privilege to support parents, caregivers, schools and communities.

Playcentre is a unique New Zealand early childhood organisation. It began as a parent co-operative during the 1940s to support families and promote new developments in early childhood education and quickly grew. The New Zealand Playcentre Federation formed as a national organisation in 1948. For more than 60 years this largely voluntary organisation has met the changing needs of families and their communities. Today, Playcentre remains highly actively in New Zealand's early childhood education sector.
