Minerva Planning Group Information

Minerva Planning Group was founded over 20 years ago in 1987, and the firm made the transition to fee-only -in 1989, becoming one of the first fee-only firms in Georgia. Being fee only means that we are compensated solely by our clients. We do not sell commissionable products, split fees, or accept referral fees and clients clearly understand the cost of services they receive. Minerva has grown through the years, and a satellite office was opened in St. Simons to compliment the Atlanta operations. Micah Porter came on board in 2003 and in 2006, he became President and CEO of the firm. In the latter part of 2006, Renee Weese joined in the firm in the role of Associate Planner, and Anne Gunn came on board in 2007 to support Micah and Renee in providing top-notch service to their clients.
