MindWare was founded in 1990 with a small retail store in the Uptown area of Minneapolis. From there, the company evolved into a direct mail order catalog and a wholesale division. Over the years, MindWare has been dedicated to developing its own line of products that were initially offered exclusively in the MindWare catalog. In 2001, after countless requests from retail stores, MindWare started offering its line of proprietary products to retailers.
