MindOps Zenith is a trauma-informed research institute advancing ethical, community-driven approaches to healing, with a primary focus on PTSD and moral injury in veteran populations. Born from the work of The Aya Mission, MindOps Zenith was created to address a long-standing gap in traditional research: the exclusion of lived experience from how healing is studied, measured, and validated. We provide IRB governance, ethics oversight, research methodology support, and open-access publishing pathways for clinicians, community practitioners, and veteran-led programs. Our work ensures that innovative, real-world healing efforts can be studied responsibly, shared transparently, and protected ethically. MindOps Zenith operates as a global research network and publishing ecosystem—supporting researchers while safeguarding participants, and transforming community-generated data into legitimate scholarship. We believe healing happens in community, ethics should never depend on funding, and lived experience is a valid foundation for research.
