Tides is a nonprofit and philanthropic organization committed to advancing social justice. We work across the social sector to shift power to groups historically denied power. Centering equity and justice in everything we do, we collaborate in deep partnership with movement leaders, nonprofits, donors, foundations, and corporations to amplify the impact of their work by providing services like fiscal sponsorship, donor advised funds, grant making, and a variety of innovative solutions.

At DonorsChoose, we believe that every child carries remarkable potential, and education is the key to unlocking and shaping it. Since 2000, we have connected donors and partners directly with public school teachers, raising $1.9 billion to fulfill teacher requests for school supplies. These resources bring learning to life: A science lab for experimentation. Flexible seating that supports focus. A classroom library to expand perspectives. Technology that opens doors to new possibilities. We serve every corner of public education nationwide — including public schools, public charter schools, and Head Start centers — with a focus on directing resources to the classrooms facing the greatest barriers to opportunity.
