Adolescents, in India, are exposed to multi-dimensional challenges, and their inability to tackle these challenges effectively is leading to a mental health crisis amongst them. Moreover, the ineffective methodologies adopted by the current system to tackle the mental illnesses faced by adolescents adds to the gravity of the situation. Therefore, The Infinite Mind aims to create a holistic, systemic and sustainable intervention that promotes mental wellbeing in adolescents by sensitizing and developing their social and emotional competencies through a multisensory approach. We plan to develop social-emotional competencies (Self-awareness, Social awareness, Self-management, Decision making, Relationship management) in all children through contextualized experiential learning and a peer model approach. Our vision is to enable every child to perform to the best of their potential through social and emotional development.
