Mindbox Information

Mental health problems are the leading cause of medical leave among Chilean workers, with increasing costs for employers, workers, and society as a whole. We tackle this challenge by taking an innovative and preventive approach for organizations. Mindbox is a workplace mental health platform for Latinamerica, informed by behavioral sciences. We use the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build skills like emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. We provide everyday tools to allow our users to journal their daily experiences and track their mood changes over time. Users can monitor their progress and reflect on their own moods and behavior patterns. Our final goal is to impact the mental well-being of our users, which in turn translate into better productivity outcomes for organizations. Our multi-disciplinary team is comprised of experts in clinical psychology, UX design, behavior change, technology, and experimental research. We got funding from a competitive national program in Chile. We have just launched our MVP, and are currently running our first RCT with a partner organization. We aim to improve wellbeing at the individual level while decreasing stress, anxiety, and depression symptoms.
