Company Profile Mindanao Seaweeds Harvest is one of the Philippines’ largest trader of seaweeds products. Our success is driven by our desire to standardize and modernize the seaweeds industry in the Philippines. We are involved in nearly all facets of the seaweeds trade including farming, drying, and exporting. We explore to produce better quality seaweeds through research and innovations. We aim to operate responsibly through sustainable processes and fair trade practices. Company Roots We trace our beginnings when our founders started buying and selling seaweeds back in 2001 - it used to be on a small-scale basis and operations were fairly limited. From there, a decision was made to create Mindanao Seaweeds Harvest and finally formalize our role in the seaweeds industry. Since then, we have operated on a larger-scale trade of seaweeds. Local Scope, Global Aim Our diverse workforce, encompassing a highly skilled work force from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. We work hard toward a common goal of standardizing the processes involved in seaweeds harvesting and processing and making the lives of everyone involved in the seaweeds trade, especially the farmers, a little better every day. Through fair-trade and sustainable practices, we intend to further penetrate into the global market of seaweeds trade.
