Memory, Insight & Neurodegenerative Disorders Student Association (MIND UofT) ~ Founded by Hriday Sharma An interdisciplinary, undergraduate community empowering research, education and advocacy in neurodegenerative diseases. MIND UofT bridges the gap between undergraduates, graduate students, researchers, clinicians, and interested peers to explore the molecular, clinical and psychological facets of disorders like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s. In addition, we also aim to address the challenges faced by geriatric patients in healthcare. What members can expect - Tri-weekly Journal Clubs discussing contemporary articles on pathology, therapeutic approaches, and neurodegenerative disorders’ psycho-philosophical implications. - Monthly speaker series & facilitated discussions with UofT researchers and clinicians. - Annual conferences: "Researching Neurodegeneration: Conference and Panel". - Skill-building workshops, networking events, and partnerships with other student organizations.
