Mimer Information Technology AB Information

The Mimer SQL product range covers database management technologies from embedded systems to enterprise servers. Your database can reside in the server room, on the desktop, or on the mobile device — running on Linux, Windows, Android, and OpenVMS. For organizations running Oracle Rdb on OpenVMS IA-64, Mimer SQL offers the clearest path forward. Oracle Rdb is currently only available on OpenVMS IA-64, leaving customers on that platform with an important architectural decision ahead. As the only production-ready relational database on OpenVMS x86_64, Mimer SQL is the lowest-risk, lowest-cost way to make that move. Because Mimer SQL runs equally well on both OpenVMS IA-64 and OpenVMS x86_64, you can migrate your database first and your hardware second — staying on familiar ground throughout, with no big-bang cutover. All products in the Mimer SQL family are characterized by zero maintenance, high performance, full multilingual support, and 100% conformance to international SQL standards — giving you a very low total cost of ownership, whether you distribute a high-volume embedded product or deploy a large enterprise server. Full function development and evaluation versions are available for free download from our Developer's web site. Deployment licensing is offered under flexible and attractive conditions. And if you need an efficient, small-footprint DBMS for a customized appliance, we can provide a tailor-made version of Mimer SQL.
