Graduates who earn three or more dual enrollment credits. Graduates that earn at least one industry credential. Graduating seniors considered "ready" or "prepared" for success. Teachers with more than three years experience. All K-12 students have a district issued laptop or tablet. The Milton-Union Board of Education voted in the spring to place a 3.9 mill permanent improvement renewal levy on the ballot on November 3, 2020. This is a 5-year renewal levy that first passed in February 1991 and last passed in November 2015. It will not increase taxes. The funds generated by the levy are used to repair, maintain and replace capital assets such as buses, technology, security cameras and building structural needs. By using permanent improvement funds to upgrade and maintain the buildings HVAC automation system, general fund operating expenditures for utilities are lower than State and Miami County averages. With the continual increase in operational costs and decrease in budgets, it is more important than ever to use permanent improvement funds effectively.
