Millions From One Information

Millions From One is a non-denominational Christian missions organization funding deep-water wells and humanitarian programs in Burundi, one of the most water-stressed nations in the world. We drill wells that reach safe underground aquifers — water that already exists beneath the ground, waiting for someone to reach it. Each $9,750 well serves an entire community for decades. And because of a committed matching donor, every well funded becomes two: one gift, two communities transformed. But water is the entry point, not the finish line. Alongside every well, our team delivers hygiene and sanitation training, education support, and leadership development so communities can own and sustain what's been built long after the drilling rig leaves. We also come alongside local churches and organizations already serving faithfully in their own communities. Our work is carried out by ten full-time Burundian staff who live in the communities they serve, led by Field Director Aimable Manirambona. That local ownership is why our wells keep running — we complete more than 50 repairs a year on wells drilled long before, because the commitment doesn't end at installation. 98% of every donation goes directly to field operations.
