Investing in Europe's future: MILESTONE MILESTONE, which stands for student housing in the premium segment, is aiming to take advantage of a booming international property trend. MILESTONE’s ALL-INCLUSIVE concept of fully furnished, functional, single-unit apartments with high design and quality standards, combined with modern community spaces, amounts to a new asset class in the real estate sector. The MILESTONE vision is to establish a new type of accommodation for students. We aim to lead the European market for student accommodation through our high quality residential concept and the MILESTONE brand itself. With an eye for design, high quality standards, numerous extras and all-inclusive rental packages that cover all ancillary services, MILESTONE is creating a new kind of residential environment while offering students opportunities to make contacts, enjoy new experiences and feel right at home. MILESTONE is more than a living concept, it is a lifestyle. MILESTONE Development GmbH is a competent, solution-focused team forming part of the value one group. The company is responsible for driving the successful expansion of MILESTONE student apartments (especially in Europe) and for securing future MILESTONE sites. The joint aim of both organisations is to develop and run 30 properties by 2020. We have developed a flexible rollout plan to meet our expansion target of 30 properties in Europe. MILESTONE operates its own developments as well as developments by outside parties; we are interested in both new buildings and converted structures. The first MILESTONE opened in October 2013 in Vienna, Austria. Projects are currently under preparation at four sites in Austria (Graz, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Linz). The next step will take us to other European countries as we increase our emphasis on Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
