Míla's core activities are building up and operating the most modern telecommunication network possible in Iceland. Other telecommunication companies are connected to this network through various solutions. Míla's function is to sell its solutions to companies and institutions engaging in telecommunication activities. Míla's specialties include operation of and consultancy on telecommunication systems, co-location leasing for information technology and various services for telecommunication systems. Míla ehf. builds on the activities of Iceland Telecom's (now Síminn hf.) telecommunication network that has laid the foundation for all telecommunications in Iceland. The company, which was in 2007 spun off from Iceland Telecom's other activities.
