MINC was chartered in 2002 as part of the City of Los Angeles's Neighborhood Council system. The NC system was created in 1999 to allow those who live, work or worship in a particular neighborhood, i.e., "stakeholders", an opportunity to have a voice in community and city decisions. MINC is divided into eleven regions (See the map below to find out which one you are in). What is a stakeholder? A stakeholder is any person who has a vested interest in the area covered by the neighborhood council. Stakeholders are residential (including multi-unit), business, or organizational (such as a school or church). When do we meet? Stakeholder Meetings - 2nd Monday of Every Month - 6:30pm
